About Us

We are mad about camping, we go away somewhere different every year.  Last year we were at Devon and the year before that we went to the North of Scotland.  We started with a small tent just for the 2 of us and then loved it so much we bought a larger tent when the family came along.  Our daughters were only 9 months when they were first introduced to camping and love the freedom it brings them.  Now we have everything from the tent to a heater and a clothes airer, we even enjoy it when its raining - you just have to make the most of it.

We decided on this small business after hearing the same old thing year after year - “we've often thought about camping but don't want to spent a fortune on all the gear” or “we bought a small tent to try camping and love it so much we are going to get a bigger one” and so Border Tent Hire was formed.
