Tents Available to Hire in Scotland 3 0r 4 man tents These simple to erect tents are ideal for couples or 2 adults with either 1 or 2 small children. (Although it is designed to take 4 adults this would be without airbeds). There is a small porch area which would allow a small amount of equipment or hiking boots/shoes to be stored. Easy 4 man tents can be erected in 10-15mins and used for hiking, fishing, motorcycle holidays, first time adventures, festivals or to use as a base. There are 3 poles to erecting this tent - 2 large criss cross over the top and 3rd smaller pole for porch area. Sitting height only. (See picture 1) 4 man Coleman Ridge or similar These are great tents in a tunnel style with a bedroom at each end and a reasonable living space in the middle. They are easy to erect with colour coded poles criss crossing in the middle and 1 at each end for the bedrooms. There is a ground sheet with each tent to help retain the warmth on cooler evenings. There is ample room for couples or families. These tents will pack away using little space and would be ideal if space in the car was limited or even if going away on a motor cycle, however don’t be fooled by the small pack - this is a great tent to experience camping for the first time. Standing height in living space and erect in around 15-20 mins (See picture 2) Vango Venture 500 or similar These are simple to erect tents with ample space for couples or families with one large bedroom and a reasonable sized living space with either a front or side door or both if it’s really warm. 2 poles criss cross in the middle for the bedroom with a single pole for the living area, again these are colour coded and pack away using little space. Ideal for first time campers wishing to experience the joy of camping or for a base when hill walking, cycling, surfing or simply relaxing. Standing height in both living space and bedrooms.
